After receiving 12 timely, eligible objections, the US Forest Service’s responsible official, reviewing officer, the objectors, and interested persons attended a resolution meeting with the Tahoe National Forest Service branch. At the meeting, objectors and interested parties discussed concerns related to several topics brought up in the objection letters. None of the objections were resolved as a result of that meeting.
As part of the objection review process, the Forst Service Pacific Southwest Regional Office convened a review team of resource specialists to review the Final Environmental Impact Statement/Environmental Impact Report and the Record of Decision related to the issues brought up in the objection letters.
